New Democrat Leader Dwain Lingenfelter made the pledge in Yorkton Monday morning.
Twinning a 160-kilometre section of Highway 10, plus an interchange to connect it to the Trans-Canada Highway, will cost $228 million over four years, the NDP says in its platform.
Around the same time that Lingenfelter was making the highway-twinning announcement, Saskatchewan Party Leader Brad Wall was talking about child care in Emerald Park, east of Regina.
Wall pledged that if re-elected, his government will create 2,000 new licenced child care spaces.
The election is Nov. 7.
