A 21-year-old Saskatoon man found dead on Sturgeon Lake First Nation is the victim of a homicide, the RCMP says.

Police found the body on the side of a grid road on Aug. 20. An autopsy held Tuesday determined the man had been stabbed to death, police said.

Police have identified the victim, but haven't released the name.

No one has been charged yet. Police said the investigation so far has determined that the victim was involved in an altercation the same day he was found dead.
