A three-year-old Saskatchewan girl is dead after being attacked by two dogs on the Mosquito First Nation near North Battleford.Mosquito First Nation is about 35 kilometres south of North Battleford, Sask.
Battlefords RCMP said the toddler had wandered into a yard where she encountered the dogs.
Police and ambulance services were called shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday.
She was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at hospital in North Battleford, which is about 35 kilometres north of the reserve.
The dogs, both husky crosses, were destroyed by the owner shortly after the incident.
No criminal charges are being considered, the RCMP said.
Police said Mosquito First Nation is not a community that is seen to have a problem with dangerous dogs.
