Three men now face second-degree murder charges in the death of Delano Toto. Legacy.comA third man is in custody facing a charge of second-degree murder in the death of a16-year-old whose body was found in north central Regina, police say.
Police have not said how Delano Toto died nor how he came to be where he was found. Two officers conducting a routine patrol noticed the youth's body on the ground near the intersection of 8th Avenue and Rae Street on May 7 shortly after 5 a.m. CST. They checked on him and EMS were called, who confirmed Toto was dead.
A few days later police charged two men, aged 25 and 22, with second degree murder.
On Friday, police said a third person — Terry Shawn Smoke, 23 — was arrested and will appear in court on Monday to face the same charge.
