RCMP are investigating the sudden death of a two-year-old boy near Webb, Sask. (CBC)RCMP are investigating the death of a two-year-old boy in a rural home near Webb, Sask., just west of Swift Current.
Police said the child was put down for a nap Saturday afternoon and was later found unresponsive.
He was dead when paramedics arrived. Police don't know the cause of death.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday morning in Saskatoon.
Police said the child lived with his biological father and stepmother.
RCMP in Swift Current and the RCMP major crimes unit from Regina are investigating.
Webb is 23 kilometres west of Swift Current.
