A body has been found in a burned-out barn just outside of the town of Redvers.
RCMP say they responded to a call about a fire at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday.
The barn was engulfed in flames by the time the fire department arrived.
While fighting the blaze, crews found a body inside.
Police say they don't know what caused the fire and have not released the name of the victim.
They say at this point, they are treating the death as a homicide.
Redvers is located on Highway 13, east of Carlyle.
