A 42-year-old woman has been killed in a single-vehicle accident near Pelican Narrows in northern Saskatchewan.

The woman was a passenger in a car early Thursday morning when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. CT, about 30 kilometres south of the community on Highway 135.

A 34-year-old man is in custody, and the RCMP said he will be charged with impaired driving causing death.

Pelican Narrows is about 380 kilometres northeast of Prince Albert.
