A 24-year-old man on a motorcycle was clocked by police radar doing 210 km/h on a stretch of Saskatoon's Idylwyld Freeway Wednesday morning.

Police reported that the man reached that speed just as he approached the Sid Buckwold bridge. He slowed as he became caught in traffic at which point police were able to pull him over.

The incident took place around 10:30 a.m. CT.

Police said the biker would be charged with dangerous driving, and had been scheduled for an appearance on that charge in provincial court on Aug. 5.

They added that they had seized the man's motorcycle. No name was released.
