Saskatoon police have a warrant out for Warren Rattray for allegedly breaching his release conditions. (Saskatoon police service)Police in Saskatoon are looking for a man they describe as a high-risk, violent sex offender who's believed to be somewhere in the area.
Warren David Rattray, 43, is accused of violating his release conditions and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
According to the police, Rattray has a history of committing violent sexual offences against women and children of both genders, police said.
He was last seen in Martensville, Sask. on Aug. 18.
According to the police, Rattray is in violation of a recognizance which requires him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, regularly report to the police and stay away from children, schools, playgrounds, public parks and swim areas.
In a news release, police added they are releasing the information so people can take suitable preventative measures, "and not to embark upon any form of vigilantism or other unreasonable conduct directed at this individual."
Police are asking anyone with information about Rattray's whereabouts to give them a call.
