Regina police have laid more sexual assault charges against a local doctor.
Dr. Edward Toyin Poon now faces a total of eight charges, which police said Friday relate to "several" alleged victims.
It's alleged the assaults took place at a medical clinic.
Police began investigating after receiving a complaint from a 19-year-old woman on Feb. 14. Poon, 58, was arrested a day later and charged with sexual assault.
Poon made a first appearance on the new charges in provincial court on Friday. In addition to the sexual assault charges, he's also facing three counts of breach of undertaking.
Poon was released and will be back in court on June 11.
Earlier this month, the Saskatchewan College of Physicians and Surgeons confirmed it is also investigating the doctor.
