Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Saskatoon man missing since before Christmas.

Robert Slinger, 53, hasn't been seen since he left his home on Lake Crescent for groceries on Dec. 20.

Slinger is the former business development officer at Saskatoon's synchrotron and former CEO of the Regina Airport Authority.      

According to police, Slinger packed some personal belongings, including his passport, before he left home.

Slinger suffered a stroke about a year ago and his family is worried about his judgment. He has difficulty communicating and requires daily medication.

When last seen, Slinger was wearing a green winter jacket. He is believed to be driving a 2006 light green Ford Escape with Saskatchewan licence plate YQRCA.
