Spring sitting begins at Sask. Legislature
Premier and Opposition leader outline expectations
The spring sitting of the Saskatchewan Legislature begins today and leaders from both sides of the floor are gearing up for debates fuelled by competing interests.
"We have seen this government have a more negative approach in the previous sitting," Broten told reporters. "And I would expect that to continue, whether it's through the use of member statements or the negative ads."
When it comes to the opposition NDP, Wall says he plans to keep a close eye on what the party wants.
"I think it's going to be important for the province that we start keeping track of requests for more spending from the opposition. I expect that to be the case again this spring," said Wall.
The government will table its budget Mar. 19.
