According to the Highway Hotline a few roads have been closed across the province due to high water levels and portions of soft ground.

The east lanes of Highway 16 approaching Lashburn, near Lloydminster, were closed Saturday afternoon due to flooding. Barricades have been placed on the road and people are being asked to use an alternate route.

Highway 363 about three kilometres west of Moose Jaw is also closed, while water was reported on Highway 2 south of Moose Jaw as well.

Highway 374 north of Revenue, Sask., is barricaded for about three kilometres because of heavy rutting and soft spots.

Sections of other highways experienced overflow as well, but crews have been able to divert the water. Drivers are being cautioned about a number of areas where speed has been reduced because of soft road surfaces, ruts and loose stones.

People are advised to check Highway Hotline before they head out.
