Shot man drives himself to Regina hospital
A 51-year-old with a gunshot wound drove himself to the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, police say. They have yet to interview him, to learn what happened.
Police reported the unusual incident Friday afternoon, adding he showed up at the hospital around noon.
They said his injuries were such that he needed surgery and he was transported to the Regina General Hospital for that.
The man is in stable condition, they said.
Police were also able to confirm the man's identity and check out a couple of residences associated with him, to see if anyone else was hurt. They said those checks, of a couple of apartments in the city, found nothing.
Their investigation continues.
