A Christian retreat centre north of Saskatoon has been inundated with water due to ice jams on the North Saskatchewan river, according to operators of the property.

The Shekinah Retreat Centre, run by the Mennonite Church of Canada, is set in a natural area along the river and has a few permanent structures.

Portions of the grounds have water that is about one metre deep.
