The retail company Sears is cutting jobs, including 95 positions in Saskatchewan.
According to the company, 84 jobs are being cut at the Regina distribution centre.
Another 11 people are being laid off at stores across the province, including five in Saskatoon, four in Regina and two in Moose Jaw. The company said no lay offs were planned for its store in Prince Albert.
The Saskatchewan job losses are part of a nationwide announcement by Sears Canada that about 700 people will be cut from the company's payroll.
"This is part of our initiative to right-size the organization," the company said in a media release.
According to the release, about two to three Sears associates per store will be laid off.
Some of the lay offs, about 40 positions, will also be made at the company's head office.
