Saskatoon police are searching for a suspect after a shooting in the city's west side Friday night.

Witnesses told police a teenage boy fired a gun at a second man in the 300 block of Avenue N South just before 10 p.m. CST.

Patrol officers and the Street Gang Unit responded to the scene and found the shot had hit a building and broken a window.

The teenager left the scene and officers tracked him with a police dog to the 500 block of Ave H South, but did not make any arrests.

No one was injured. 

This is the second shooting in the area in the past week. Police arrested another teen in connection with a shooting in the 200 block of Avenue N South, where the windows of an apartment building were shot out on June 8.

The 15-year-old boy was charged with attempted murder.
