Saskatoon police are investigating a double stabbing after two 19-year-old men were wounded with a knife Friday evening.
Officers were called to two separate scenes on the 100 and 200 block of Avenue N South at about 7 p.m. CST.
Police said at the time of the stabbing the two men were together in the area of the 1900 block of 19th Street West when they were approached.
One of the victims suffered serious stab wounds to his abdomen and leg which are considered to be non-life threatening. The other victim had wounds on his forearms and hands.
Both men were taken to hospital to be treated.
There is no word on who the men may have been approached by or what led to the stabbing.
Police do say, however, they have identified a person of interest, but no arrests have been made.
If anyone has information about the stabbing, they are asked to contact Saskatoon police.
