Saskatoon police are investigating after a 54-year-old man was stabbed in his home.
Police say a group of four or five men knocked on the man's door on the 300 block of Avenue W on Friday. When he opened the door, investigators say he was attacked.
The man was stabbed with a knife in the face, shoulder and hand, but his injuries were not life threatening.
Police were alerted to the crime when the man walked into St. Paul's Hospital on Friday at around 6:30 p.m. CST.
Investigators say it doesn't appear to have been a random act, and that the men were looking for someone specific.
The men are described as Aboriginal and between the ages of 18-25. People are being asked to call police or Crimestoppers with any information on the crime.
