A 45-year-old man is in hospital after suffering severe head injuries from an alleged assault Saturday afternoon.

Officers were called to reports of an assault at a home on the 400 block of Avenue G South just before 4 p.m. CST.

When police arrived at the home they found the 45-year-old victim, who was badly injured.

He was rushed to Royal University Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

A 32-year-old man and a 24-year-old man are facing charges of aggravated assault.

One of the men is also facing several unrelated charges, including six other warrants from the Regina police.
