Saskatoon man repeatedly stabbed in back
A Saskatoon man is in hospital after being repeatedly stabbed in the back on the street early Wednesday morning.
The attack happened around 3 a.m. CST near the corner of Avenue E North and 24th Street on the west side of the city, police said.
The man, 21, was walking down the street when he was approached by four or five males who at first tried to talk to him, but then began assaulting him and stabbing him in the back.
An ambulance arrived at a home on the 200 block of Avenue E North and took the man to hospital.
He's being treated for multiple stab wounds but police said his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police said they didn't get descriptions of any the suspects.
