Saskatoon man charged with robbing Regina banks
A Saskatoon man has been charged with robbing two Regina banks last month.
Brian James Rudolph, 36, appeared in Regina provincial court on the charges Thursday morning and was scheduled to be back in court later in the day.
The Regina police said a male suspect entered a bank on the 2000 block of 11th Ave. downtown on August 27, demanded money, but fled before the employee could return with the cash.
A few hours later the same day, another bank on the 2000 block of Park Street on the east side of town was hit. This time the suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both incidents were recorded on bank surveillance video.
Rudolph was arrested in Saskatoon on Monday.
