Investigators are looking into an early morning fire on Saskatoon's west side, that officials say is being considered "suspicious" at this point.
A neighbour living in the 400 block of Avenue Q South called for help at about 1 a.m. CST reporting heavy smoke coming from the home next door.
When fire crews arrived on scene they removed the front door to get in, and started searching the bungalow. Thick black smoke had filled the house.
No one was found inside the home, and there were no injuries in the incident.
Firefighters put out a blaze on the back porch, but no flames were found inside.
There is no word yet on the damage or what may have caused the fire.
