Saskatchewan was hit hard by storms Thursday night and Friday morning, leaving many people temporarily in the dark.

Saskatchewan was hit hard by storms on Thursday night and Friday morning, leaving many people temporarily in the dark.

In Saskatoon, emergency crews were kept busy after a house was struck by lightning, sparking a fire in the attic.

In Luseland, one resident reported 100 millimetres of rain.

SaskPower said it was working to get the lights back on as soon as possible.
