A Canada Day survey of more than 1,000 Canadians says Saskatchewan has the least beautiful scenery in the country.

The online poll was done by Abacus Data, asking people about the best and worst attributes of Canadian provinces, and 47 per cent of participants said Saskatchewan isn't pretty.

But the poll may not be exactly accurate.  The people that participated weren't asked if they had actually been to the province.

When Premier Brad Wall was asked about the poll, he said it should be thrown in one of the hundreds of scenic Saskatchewan Lakes.

Newfoundland was voted the friendliest province and Quebec the most unfriendly.

Alberta was voted the best place to do business and British Columbia the best place to vacation.
