Sask. Science Centre welcomes prehistoric guests

A life-size Tyrannasaurus rex and a triceratops were set-up outside of the Saskatchewan Science Centre in Regina Monday, ahead of the 'Dinosaurs Unearthed' exhibit opening this weekend.

It took a large shipping container and a crane to move two off the Saskatchewan Science Centre's newest guests to their summer home Monday.

A life-size Tyrannosaurus rex and a triceratops were set up on the patio outside the building.

The installation precedes the Science Centre's Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit opening this weekend.

The models are animatronic, which means they will move and sound like real dinosaurs.

The exhibit opens Saturday and will stay until Sept. 28.
