Happiness is Brad Wall behind the wheel of his dream car — a  replica 1968 Shelby Mustang decked out in Saskatchewan Roughrider colours.

Saskatchewan's premier was all smiles as he took the gleaming vehicle for a spin in front the Legislative Building.

But it was all for a good cause.

Owned by a group of private donors, the muscle car is being sold with the money going to an Alzheimer's charity and minor football.

Wall said the toughest part for him was careful driving in front of the auto body specialists who had overhauled the classic car.

Premier Brad Wall was all smiles Thursday as he took this replica 1968 Shelby Mustang for a spin. It's being sold to raise funds for Alzheimer's disease and minor football, two charities close to the premier's heart. (CBC)

"I was pretty worried about that," Wall said. "They worked pretty hard on it."

The charities are both dear to Wall's heart. He's coached football for years and notes his his grandfather died of Alzheimer's disease.
