Sask birds in trouble?

The barn swallow pupulation numbers have significantly decreased in the past 40 years.

A new report by Birdlife International says one in eight bird species worldwide faces the threat of extinction.

Even common birds such as the barn swallow are in steep decline. According to the report the barn swallow population has declined to less than a quarter of its 1970 numbers.
