The Saskatchewan Roughriders have seen some familiar faces heading for the exits in recent days, but Rob Bagg won't be one of them.

The CFL team announced Thursday that the 30-year-old wide receiver has had his contract extended and will remain with the Riders through 2018.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Bagg, who is from Kingston, Ont., has been with the team since 2008. He has racked up 3,708 yards on 272 catches  in 105 regular season games while adding 19 touchdowns.

Earlier this month, the team released fan favourites John Chick and Weston Dressler.
