A temporary road closure, due to dangerous driving conditions because of blowing snow, did not deter some motorists heading out of Regina Wednesday.
The barricade was erected on Dewdney Avenue, on the city's west end.
While it was clearly marked as "Road Closed" it was also easy for motorists to get around the sign and travel on, ignoring the message.
While a CBC News camera was recording the scene, several vehicles -- including a semi -- drove right by the barricade.
In one case, a pickup truck driver went about 200 metres beyond the barricade before thinking better of it and turning around.
Many motorists also obeyed the sign and turned away to find alternate routes.
