A Regina taxi driver was allegedly robbed Saturday morning by four teenagers and pepper sprayed in the process, before cops used a taser on one of the 18-year-old suspects during his arrest.

Police said an officer used the taser later that day on the suspect while at a residence in northwest Regina.

The suspected teens also pepper sprayed a bystander who was attempting to photograph them as they fled, and punched another bystander in the face.

Two 18-year-old males face robbery and assault charges. They will appear in court Monday.

Another 18-year-old man has been charged with breaching his curfew and resisting arrest.

A 17-year-old man was released without charge.

Regina Police said no one involved was seriously injured.
