Regina police use Taser on rowdy, intoxicated suspect
Investigation leads police to stabbing victim
Regina police say they used a Taser stun gun Thursday to arrest a man who was yelling in the street and hitting cars with his hands.
It happened around 3 p.m. CST in the Normanview neighbourhood.
Police said the man appeared to be intoxicated and had blood on his face and hands.
They figured out he had come from a home nearby, and when they went inside they found a woman with a stab wound to her leg.
They say she appeared highly intoxicated as well.
Both the woman and the man were taken to hospital.
On Friday police said they had charged the man, 29, with aggravated assault.
