Regina police seek suspects after knife allegedly pulled on cabbie

Regina police are asking for the public's help finding two people wanted in the alleged assault of a cab driver in the city.

Regina police have charged one man and are looking for two other people after a taxi driver was allegedly assaulted and held at knife-point.

Officers say they were called to the 1400 block of Victoria Avenue at 7 p.m. CST on Tuesday evening.

They say three people had gotten into a cab and were arguing with the driver.

Police say the man in the front seat assaulted the cab driver, while a woman in the back pulled a knife.

Regina police are looking for her and another man who was in the back seat.

The front-seat passenger, a 38-year-old man, has been charged with assault.
