Regina police probe 2 overnight stabbings, 1 assault
Regina police were kept busy early Saturday morning after two people were stabbed and one cab driver was assaulted.
Police responded to the 900 block of Garnet Street where a call came in that a man had been stabbed several times at about 4:43 a.m. CST.
His injures were considered to be serious but non-life threatening.
Officers have arrested and charged another man in connection with the stabbing.
At about 2:18 a.m. CST police attended to a cab driver who said he had been assaulted and had his money stolen in the 2200 block of Atkinson Street.
The incident is still being investigated.
About 20 minutes after midnight a man walking on the street in the 1200 block of Wascana Street told police he was approached by two women who stabbed him in his left bicep.
Officers have arrested an woman and a girl and charged them with aggravated assault.
The man remains in hospital.
