A man, 18, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection with an incident more than a year ago in which two men were stabbed.

On Sept. 27, 2012, police located the two victims, ages 32 and 39, in the North Central area near the corner of Angus Street and 8th Avenue.

They were taken to hospital and survived. 

The 18-year-old was a minor when the incident took place, so his name can't be made public.

He made a first appearance in youth court on Friday.
