A Regina man who was pepper-sprayed, beaten and stabbed several times late last night is in hospital in stable condition.

Police said they started getting calls around 11 p.m. CST about a man lying in the street in the North Central area covered in blood.

They went to the 1200 block of Robinson St. and found the victim, who had been stabbed several times.

He was rushed to hospital with what police described as serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

No one has been charged. The case is under investigation.
