A hotel, shopping, and a restaurant is planned for the northern edge of the city. (City of Regina)
The very northern tip of Regina could soon see a new shopping centre and hotel.
Next month, Regina City Council will consider a proposal to rezone a 10,050 square metre parcel of land at 4501 Armour Rd. to allow a shopping centre on the site.
The plan is to construct four buildings — a five-storey, 100-room hotel, two large retail buildings and a drive-through restaurant.
It will be the city's most northerly commercial development.
The city says it hasn't received any comments on the proposal from the Walsh Acres community association or the Lakeridge community association.
