RCMP seize guns from distraught man in Candle Lake
A 31-year-old man was allegedly armed and witnesses heard shots fired
Police continue to investigate the case of a distraught man at a gun range in east central Saskatchewan.
On Monday, RCMP got a call to the Candle Lake Gun Range at about 6:30 p.m. CST. Candle Lake is about 240 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon.
A 31-year-old man was allegedly armed and witnesses heard shots fired.
Police contained the area and made contact with the man by phone. He came out peacefully and surrendered.
Several firearms were seized at the scene.
Police said Tuesday they are considering charges.
