The Mounties are investigating following the latest incident of vandalism against a school bus in Lone Rock, Sask.

Last weekend, someone threw a beer bottle at a Battle River school division bus while it  was parked at the hamlet. The empty bottle took out a passenger window.

It happened sometime between 4:35 p.m. Friday afternoon and 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, the RCMP said.

It's the third time in the past year where a bus was damaged while being parked in Lone Rock, the RCMP said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the RCMP at 310-7267 or 306-893-4800 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The hamlet with a population of about 80 is located close to the Alberta border, about 31 kilometres southeast of Lloydminster.
