RCMP are looking for a man they believe is behind an assault on a 16-year-old girl outside of Yorkton on Saturday.

According to the RCMP, the teen was walking along Highway 52 around 7:30 p.m. CST when a man unknown to her stopped and picked her up.

The suspect propositioned the teen to carry out sexual acts and when she refused, the suspect assaulted her and abandoned her on the side of the road about two kilometres west of Willowbrook, Sask., on the same highway, police said.

On Tuesday, in conjuction with a news release on the case, RCMP released a sketch of the suspect who was described as in his mid 30s, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds.

The truck was described as having tinted side windows and was a dark colour, possibly black. It has two pinstripes, of grey and white, on the side.
