Police are looking for a 29-year-old woman accused of second-degree murder after she did not return to her residence earlier this week.
Brianna Wesaquate is awaiting trial and was released with electronic monitoring after spending a short time in remand. She was allowed to be away from her home on Pasqua First Nation on Aug. 5, 2014 but did not return by the time she was supposed to be back.
The alarm on her monitoring bracelet was triggered but police do not know if the device has been removed.
Wesaquate is charged in relation to the death of Cassandra Desjarlais in October of 2013.
Police attended the scene after a report of two women fighting with each other. They found Desjarlais seriously injured when they arrived. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Wesaquate is aboriginal, five feet six inches tall and 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
RCMP say not to approach Wesaquate, and to contact them if you have any information.
