Man found injured in Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask., dies later in hospital

The RCMP say a 27-year-old man is dead after a "disturbance" outside a business in Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask., over the weekend.

The RCMP say the major crime unit south is investigating the death of a man in Fort Qu'Appelle over the weekend.

A 27-year-old man is dead after a "disturbance" outside a business in Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask., over the weekend. 

Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP and personnel with the File Hills First Nations Police Service responded to a call about a disturbance outside a business in the 500 block of Hudson Avenue on Saturday around 11 p.m. CST.

When they arrived at the scene, officers found a 27-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but later died from his injuries. 

RCMP say the major crime unit south is investigating and an autopsy is scheduled in Regina on Monday. 

The deceased's next of kin has been notified, but police are not releasing his name at this time.
