RCMP investigate possible drowning near Alameda Dam

Just after 4 p.m. CST, RCMP said witnesses at the scene reported seeing a 43-year-old man disappear under the water.

Carnduff RCMP are investigating a possible drowning near the Alameda Dam.

Just after 4 p.m. CST, RCMP said witnesses at the scene reported seeing a 43-year-old man disappear under the water. The man was apparently trying to swim across the river.  

The RCMP underwater recovery team has not been able to locate the man.

The Alameda Dam is about 60 kilometres northeast of Estevan, Sask.
