Prince Albert, Sask., teen arrested after boy, 15, shot in face

A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Prince Albert, Sask., yesterday after another teen was shot in the face.

Suspect, 17, to appear in provincial court on Thursday

Police have arrested a teenage suspect after a 15-year-old boy was shot in the face in Prince Albert, Sask.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Prince Albert, Sask., Tuesday after another teen was shot in the face.

Police were called to the 1700 block of 14th Street W. at about 2:45 p.m. where a 15-year-old boy had been shot.

He was transported to hospital in Saskatoon with injuries police described as non-life-threatening and is currently in stable condition. 

Police said the 17-year-old suspect was in possession of a firearm at the time of his arrest at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

He's scheduled to make an appearance in provincial court on Thursday morning.

Police have not released the charges in this case.
