A plane with three people on board made an unscheduled landing just north of Regina near Zehner, Sask. Thursday evening.
Emergency crews received a call that a plane was experiencing mechanical issues at about 6:45 p.m. CST.
Pamela Thomson was piloting the Cessna 172 when she didn't feel comfortable with the way the engine was running, so she went in for landing.
By the time emergency crews arrived on scene, there was nothing for them to do.
"The plane was fine, the landing was good, the engine still runs, I was just more concerned about safety," said Thomson.
No one from the plane — Thomson, a second woman and a boy — was hurt.
The plane was back in the air later in the evening and landed at the Regina airport.
