Two people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash near Lumsden, Sask., Monday morning.

It happened on Highway 11 just north of the town, the RCMP said.

Police said an initial investigation shows that a Dodge pickup with two occupants drove into the rear of the grader.

The crash left the grader overturned and blocking the highway.

The man driving the Dodge pickup was OK, but his male passenger was injured, as was the man driving the grader.

The two men were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Police routed some of the lighter vehicle traffic around the scene but semis and heavy vehicles had to wait while the crash was investigated and the scene was cleared, police said.
