Thieves stole a lot of perfume from a store in North Battleford, Sask., but the Mounties are on the scent.

According to the RCMP, on the afternoon of Nov. 23, shoplifters walked into a store on Railway Avenue East and cleared out seven full shelves in the perfume section.

Police didn't name the store, but it's believed to be the Shoppers Drug Mart at the Frontier Mall.

On Friday, police released surveillance camera photos of two people who were in the store between 1 and 2 p.m. CST when the heist occurred.

The images show two "persons of interest" — a woman with dark hair and dark clothing and a man in a grey hooded sweatshirt carrying an empty shopping basket.

They're asking anyone with information about the case to call the North Battleford RCMP detachment at 306-446-1720 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
