While many people are celebrating the start of a new year on Monday night, the party continues tomorrow at Government House in Regina.

It will be holding its annual New Year's Day party known as The Levee.

Saskatchewan's Lieutenant Governor, Vaughn Schofield, will also be signing an electronic guest book that will be sent to Queen Elizabeth in London, England.

"It's a party," said Schofield.  "It's a party where you come and meet your friends, meet the Lieutenant Governor, make new friends, have refreshments, have entertainment, just have a good time, it's a party," she said.

People can stop by Government House, where they can meet Schofield and sign the book themselves, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. CST.

The first New Year's Day Levee at Saskatchewan Government House was held January 1st, 1884.
