Mosaic Place 'blacklisted', Moose Jaw newspaper reports
Officials from Hockey Canada are upset with the people who run Mosaic Place, according to reports from the Moose Jaw Times-Herald.
The arena was the site of the Telus Cup, Canada's midget hockey championship, in April.
According to the newspaper, the two sides are in a contract dispute over the venue rental cost.
Reporter Katie Brickman has been covering this story for the Herald.
"Allegedly the cost of the event was supposed to be $90,000," Brickman told CBC Monday. "And the supposed final bill was over $160,000."
According to Brickman, Hockey Canada has told Mosaic Place officials that no future hockey events will be considered at the venue.
Officials from Mosaic Place and Hockey Canada have declined to comment to CBC News.
