Every year, a few moose wander into Regina, including this one which ran around at the airport several years ago. Most manage to get out on their own, although one Thursday got hit by a pickup truck on the west side of the city. (CBC)

The driver of a pickup truck avoided injury after an early morning collision with a moose on the streets of Regina.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. CST Thursday on the west side of the city near the corner of 13th Avenue and Lewvan Drive.
